Pet CBD Oil

Pet CBD Oil is is good for younger pets and older pets.  If you find that your older pet or maybe even your younger pet is having some health issues, we have great news!

Veterinarians are finding that CBD for pets is making a difference in their patient’s lives. But don’t think that you have to have a pet with some type of issue in order to use CBD oil.

If I had a puppy or a kitten right now, I would start giving pet CBD oil right away for a healthy start to life.

The hemp plant has many chemical compounds and the health benefits are phenomenal.

There have been magnificent results in the use of CBD for pet anxiety, all the way to pet seizures and everything in between.

Why Give Pet CBD Oil

CBD plays a vital role in:

  • Anxiety
  • Appetite
  • Discomfort
  • Nausea
  • Mood
  • Memory
  • Inflammation
  • Behavioral Issues
  • And much more ...

Pet food, pet treats, pet CBD drops and sprays are just some of the creative ways that these great products help you get the pet CBD oil into their system to help them stay healthy, both physically and emotionally.

If you have a cat you may find that pet CBD oil helps with the following:

  • Fear of the litter box
  • Crying for no reason
  • Constant hiding
  • Poor appetite
  • Stress from a change in the environment
  • And much more…

Ways To Administer Pet CBD Oil

I like to give my dogs pet CBD oil treats that come in a soft chew or a biscuit, but there are other ways of presenting it to your pet.

Drops can either be given orally, in a spray or put on their food. Maybe you are one of the lucky ones and your pet doesn’t mind taking a capsule.

Cannabis is the name of the plant and both hemp and marijuana fall under that name.  The difference is that industrial hemp is very, very low in THC and Marijuana is very high in THC.

This is what makes the hemp plant much safer to use.  The THC in industrial hemp is so low that it is non-psychotrophic (the “high” effect).

All Mammals Have An Endocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid system has receptors that run throughout the body.  The two main receptors are called the CB1 and CB2 and they regulate and balance the body.

The CB1 receptors are mainly located in the brain, organs, glands and nervous system.  Dogs are found to have a high concentration of these CB1 receptors.  The CB2 receptors are found in the immune system.

Even though the body produces cannabinoids, it does not produce enough to keep the body in homeostasis (balanace).  As a result, we need to supplement our pets bodies with CBD, so the body functions the way it is meant to.

Times are changing and the fact that we are once again taking advantage of the all-natural health benefits from this gift of nature is going to be phenomenal.

I now know that I can safely keep my pets healthy.   But hemp isn’t just for health.  There are over 50,000 uses for this miracle plant and pet products are a part of those 50,000.

If you have a pet that likes to lay in bed all the time, you might want to try one of the hemp pet beds.  Hemp material does not hold odor and is mold and mildew resistant, making these beds a one-of-a-kind.

There are also hemp pet collars, pet toys and more.  You can even make your own cat scratching post with hemp rope.
